Source Code Version Control
I remember picking up a book on CVS and being excited about source code version control. The concept was fascinating to me but the CVS interface made it cumbersome.
Months later, at WWDC 2006, I had the pleasure of meeting Google’s Brian Fitzpatrick and being introduced to Subversion. Finally, a way to do versioning that made sense to me. Elegant. Simple. Concise.
I have recently started using Git for source code version control and believe it or not, it leaves Subversion in the dust! Give it shot. If you like Subversion, you’ll love Git!
